ABOUT PICA
PICA è un progetto artistico nato dalla collaborazione tra l’artista Carlos Lalvay Estrada, e Pietro Repetto tecnico della stampa fotografica antica.
Il progetto si configura come il recupero di una delle più antiche tecniche di stampa fotografica in una chiave nuova e quasi inesplorata, prestandosi ottimamente alla riproduzione di disegni al tratto.
PICA is an artistic project born with collaboration between the artist Carlos Lalvay Estrada, and Pietro Repetto, a technician of ancient photographic printing. The project aims to recover one of the oldest photographic printing techniques using it in a new and almost unexplored way: the reproduction of drawings and works of art through cyanotype.
